Services
SCREENWRITING & STORYBOARDING
At Stop-Mo-Studio, we tackle everything in-house. This starts with a script, which is supported by a storyboard as a visual representation of the concept.
FABRICATION
We build, draw and design everything for our animations. This includes hand and digital illustration for cutouts, as well as puppet, prop and set-building.
ANIMATION
We animate in both stop-motion and motion graphics. Stop-motions are shot using Dragonframe and a Canon 90D, and Adobe After effects is used for motion graphics.
SOUND & EDITING
No animation is complete without sound and editing. We take care of sound in-house, but are always happy to collaborate should you have sound of your own.
SILICONE CASTING FOR MAKE DO
During the production of Make Do, we took on the challenge of building a puppet using wire armatures with cast silicone compents. We created over 50 of these hands during the course of the prodution.
SPOKE BY METACOVE
Spoke was a stop-motion explainer video, created to help secure government funding in Canada. The video was a great success, and Metacove were able to achieve their goal, successfully obtaining funding.
